"You asked, so we answered. Here are some frequently asked questions that, hopefully, will guide to a better understanding of what we are and how we work."

"What is a podcast?"

In our case, we are a video podcast. Video podcast (sometimes shortened to vidcast or vodcast) is a term used for the online delivery of content through a process known as RSS enclosures. The term is an evolution specialized for video, coming from the generally audio-based podcast and referring to the distribution of video where the RSS feed is used as a non-linear TV channel to which consumers can subscribe using a PC, TV, set-top box, media center or mobile multimedia device. Podcasts are essentially like TV shows — some from major media, others from passionate individuals — delivered over the Internet to your computer. Unlike streaming content, which requires you to view in real time, podcasting lets you defy programming schedules and watch your favorite shows whenever you want — and with iPods or other portable media, wherever you want.

"What do I need?"

To view a video podcast, you need a Windows PC, Mac, or some type of media center or mobile multimedia device with a high-speed Internet connection, a free copy of iTunes 6 or higher and a set of speakers or headphones. If you want to take your podcasts on the road, you need an iPod or other portable media device

"How do I subscribe and do I have to pay?"

Using iTunes, you can easily find and subscribe to this free podcast. Either click on the iTunes link on our website at DLXPodcast.com or search for "DLX Podcast" in the iTunes Store to locate our podcast.

"What do I do after I subscribe?"

After you subscribe to the DLX Podcast in the iTunes Store, iTunes will download the most recent episodes to your computer. Simply locate the podcast in your directory and play them like you’d play any song or video file in your library. iTunes will now automatically check for updates and download new episodes to your computer as soon as they come out! And when you sync your iPod, your podcasts can sync, too.
